In today's episode, Prerna asks Veena about the problem they are discussing. Veena tries to hide the issue by saying that she is not able to get Rajesh's medicines. But later Prerna asks her not to hide problems from her. Rajesh and Veena still try to hide the issue. Later Prerna force them to tell them the truth. Veena tells Prerna that 5 years ago when all the kids had gone to the native place, Veena had got a heart attack. Rajesh didn't have any option but to take loan. Moloy helped them financially as Rajesh and Moloy are friends. Rajesh tells Prerna that he took loan as he had options to repay the loan like the land in the native place. But now due to the flood, the land has got ruined. The client backed out. Veena is worried as the date to repay the loan is nearby. Prerna asks Rajesh not to worry as she will manage something knowing that currently she doesn't have any way to make any arrangement. In the next scene, Nivedita is sleeping; her husband tries to express love. Nivedita asks him not to do that she they don't love each other. Later she realises that he must be looking for money. She gives him money and asks him not to disturb her. Her husband becomes happy. He counts the money and keeps them safe in the drawer. In the morning, Mohini and Naveen are going to Sharma's house to talk about Naveen and Prerna's relationship. Naveen asks her whether they will agree for that. According to Mohini, there is no reason for them to reject as they are getting a guy from London and their status in the society will be enhanced. She also asks Naveen to be clear to them that only Prerna will go along with him to London after marriage and not the entire family. Naveen assures her that everything will happen as per their wish. Later, Suman informs Veena that Mohini and Naveen have come to their place. Veena and Rajesh are wondering for the reason about the same. Rajesh gets scared as he feels that Mohini might have come asking for the loan amount. Prerna makes him understand that Rs.15 lakh is not a big amount for them so that won't be the reason. They all are wondering about the reason for Mohini coming their house. Rajesh tells them that the loan was taken personally and he has kept the papers of their house as mortgage. All of them go to see Mohini. They greet Mohini and Naveen. Suman brings tea for them. Rajesh says that Suman makes nice tea but Mohini insults them by just looking at tea and says that she doesn't feel like taking the tea. Naveen has it. Rajesh tells to Mohini that he was about to meet Moloy. Mohini informs him that Moloy has gone to Singapore for some official work and that is the reason she has come to discuss about it. Rajesh tells her that this year he will not be able repay the loan due to some problems but assures her that he will repay it next year for sure. Naveen asks him to relax as they haven't come for the loan. Veena asks Prerna to go to college. Prerna leaves for the collage. Veena asks Mohini for the reason she had to come to their place. Mohini informs her that she has come up with a marriage proposal for Prerna. Veena becomes happy to hear that. Mohini says that the guy is rich and handsome. She introduces her brother Naveen as a marriage proposal to them. Rajesh and Veena are shocked to know that. Rajesh says to Mohini that there is lot of difference between the ages of Prerna and Naveen. Mohini asks him to see the numbers in Accounts as age is just a number. She further says that Naveen will take Prerna to London and also will set the life of all of them. Veena thanks her for the proposal but she also says that they will find a proposal for Prerna but not a buyer. She further says to Mohini that she has done the upbringing of Prerna and she has some dreams for her daughter. She doesn't want to sell her daughter. Rajesh asks her to stop talking like that but she doesn't. She joins hands and tells Mohini politely that they cannot accept the proposal. Mohini gets angry, leaves from there along with Naveen.
In the college, Prerna is studying in the library. She gets irritated as she doesn't understand accounts. Her friend asks her to get along with her and enjoy the Rose day being celebrated in the college. Prerna is feeling sad as she has not received a single Rose from anyone. Anjali teases her by showing the one she has brought. Anjali notices Anurag passing by from there. She reaches to see him. Anjali tries to express her feelings for him. She asks him to keep the Rose in her hair with his hands. Prerna requests her from behind the door to listen to her. He tells Anjali about the story of Thorn Bird which Prerna told him the last night, about the song they sing for love till the last breath of their life. He further makes Anjali understand that she should give that Rose to someone who understands her feelings. Anjali thanks him for making her vision clear. She leaves from there. Prerna smiles at Anurag and thanks him.
On the other side, Mohini is asking Naveen not to be stressed about whatever happened. She tries to assure him that she will find the best girl for him in Kolkata. But Naveen asks her not to promise him anything as she cannot complete the promise. She had promised him about Prerna. He also asks her if Anurag would have been in his place, what she would have done. He leaves from there in anger.
In the college, there are many girls who are dying to give Red Rose to Anurag. They all gather around Anurag for that. Prerna smiles at Anurag when she sees that. She asks Anurag to give the books in his hands to her so that he can collect all the roses. Anurag collects all the roses, leaves from there along with Prerna after that.
In the next scene, Rajesh tells Veena that she should have rejected Mohini's proposal in another way because Mohini must have felt insulted with her behaviour. He further tells her that Mohini doesn't forget her insults easily. She takes revenge for that. Veena gets angry on him saying that they cannot ruin the life of their daughter just by fearing of such people. She further tells him that Naveen also must be at fault and that is the reason he has got divorced twice. Rajesh tells her that he will not agree for the proposal at all.

In the college, Prerna says to Anurag that he doesn't believe in Love and still he has got so many roses. Anurag also says that she hasn't received a single rose in spite of believing in love. He asks her to keep one rose out of those in his hands if she wants. But Prerna doesn't take it. Anurag takes his books from her. Prerna asks him about the reason behind him taking out the thorns. He says to her that there is no connection between the story of thorn birds that she told him and the thorns he has collected. But Prerna assures him that one day his heart will beat for someone special and he will also have the pain as he is collecting the thorns. She leaves from there.
Prerna comes back home. Veena opens the door but looks tensed. Prerna asks her to give her a glass of water as she is tired. She starts telling Veena about whatever happened in the college. She tells Veena that Anurag dropped her at home. Veena gets angry on that and asks her not to get engaged with anyone from Basu family. She goes to her room and closes the door on the face of Prerna. Prerna gets tensed to see her behaviour. She asks Veena to open the door but Veena doesn't. Prerna goes to Rajesh to ask what has happened when Mohini had come.
In the next scene, Mohini is dictating to her lawyer a letter to Rajesh asking to repay the loan with entire interest or vacant the house kept as mortgage. The lawyer is surprised to hear that and asks her whether Moloy knows about it. He knows that Moloy and Rajesh are very good friends. But Mohini asks him to do what she says and not to inform anyone about it. She also instructs him to ask Sharma's to repay the loan within 24 hours else vacant the house. She further asks him to attach the copy of the papers of the house to remind them.
Suman is also trying to convince Shekhar to make Prerna understand to get married to Naveen so that their life will be settled. Shekhar gets angry with her as he cannot ruin his sister's life for his benefit. But Suman keeps saying that Prerna will enjoy her life after marriage in London. Shekhar asks her to be quiet and tells her that it is not possible and leaves from there. Suman feels sad to hear that.
Anurag is happy to see Mr. Mukherjee. He asks him if there is any work. Mr. Mukherjee asks him to rethink about throwing Sharma's family out of their house. But Anurag is not understanding it. But before the lawyer tells him about the name of the family about whom he is talking, Mohini reaches there. She remembers that Moloy had told Anurag to take care of Sharma family as Rajesh has done many things for their company without asking for anything in return. She feels that Anurag should not come to know anything about what she is doing. Mohini tells him that she is helping a poor family from being thrown out of their house. Anurag is happy to know that and leaves from there asking the lawyer not to worry. Mohini gives the papers of the house and asks him to give notice to Sharma's as soon as possible. The lawyer takes the papers and leaves from there.
Prerna calls in the office to talk to Rajesh but she cannot as he is busy. She keeps a message for him to call her back. She notices that Anurag's book is with her. She calls him up to inform him that she will return it on next day. Anurag asks her to keep it with her so it will be helpful for her in future. But she says that she hates Economics subject but studies it as it will be useful to help her father. Anurag gets impressed with her thoughts and asks her to call him up for any help in Economics. She wonders why such an eligible bachelor will take out time to teach her. But he tells her that if he could contribute to her concern for her father then he will be happy. Prerna thanks him for that. Prerna notices Suman passing by her room. She asks her about what happened when Mohini had come. Suman tells her that Mohini had come for the marriage proposal for her. Prerna is shocked to know all that. Suman further tells her that there is nothing wrong with the proposal. Prerna asks her about what she is saying. Suman asks Prerna to think about it once because Mohini has left their house in anger and she will definitely take revenge for her insult which will ruin almost 7 future generations of their family. Prerna remains stagnant to hear all that.
In the office, Rajesh recollects Naveen's bad intension for Prerna during the pooja. He decides to protect his daughter irrespective of his friendship with Moloy and his job. Prerna also thinks that whatever Anjali said about Naveen was right and the intension of Naveen is not good. She feels that she should have fired him that time so he would have not dared to come at her house.
